MEET ONE OF OUR FELLOWS

Ms. Julia Elliot Ortega is a high school junior pursuing an associate's degree in the arts. Dedicated to the pursuit of advancing human rights and guaranteeing a more peaceful tomorrow, Julia decided to inquire about volunteering with the Centre.
She began her fellowship for the Centre in October 2023. She primarily worked on the U.S. federal policy project, crafting and designing policy in coordination with national leaders, legal counsels, and advocates for change. Julia brought passion and dedication to the Centre, deeply inspiring the entire staff team, and has since continued working for the Centre full-time.
