Our team is firmly committed to executing our mission, and our day-to-day activities are entirely youth-led. The Centre's leadership is encompassed in a Secretariat, a group of eight leaders working to advance our vision.

Samad Quraishi

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Samad is the Executive Director at the Centre for Voters Initiative & Action. He works to coordinate the Centre's programming, striving to achieve the Centre's strategic objectives set forth by the Board.

Samad works on a domestic and international front to analyse how governments can better involve youths through legislation, dialogue, and action. His work began with the Centre's legislation in U.S. Congress to introduce voter registration education.

Since then, Samad's fascination with law, politics and humanities have led him to expand the Centre. Under his lead, the Centre plays an increasingly active role in domestic and international mechanisms, from establishing civic education campaigns in Albania to advocating in Geneva for female empowerment in Zimbabwe. He is currently a student at Sciences Po Paris.
