Meet Abdihakim
Abdihakim Aden is Somalia's Minister for Women and Children. After the Centre led a youth-focused discussion at UN Geneva, the Human Rights Committee recommended his government implement civic education programmes in Somalia.
We don't just discuss issues; we strive to resolve them. Our continued advocacy leads us to work in partnership with governments, like Abdihakim's.
Now, we partner with policy makers and teachers in sub-Saharan Africa to distribute civic education curricula to children, empowering low-income communities to make their voices heard.

We've championed initiatives worldwide for the betterment of tomorrow.
• Youngest group to introduce federal legislation
• Led global dialogues for change at the UN
• Received UN mandates for civic education in 20+ countries under international law

WHY YOUTH?
Youth are at the core of humanity's future. By giving young people a chance to engage with the public affairs process, youth have a say in their – and the world's – future.
It often feels like today's adults have ruined the world.
We're fighting to build a better tomorrow for our children, grandchildren, and more to come. But many countries don't have the proper knowledge to do so. Support our mission to leave behind a better future.
